7th Annual Race/Fun Walk

Our 7th Susquehanna Warrior Trail 5K Race/Fun Walk will be held in Shickshinny on Saturday, April 5, at 10:15 am. Last year over 300 participants enjoyed the day with us. The race is competitive in all age groups. Several walking teams joined in. I think there was even one baby carriage last year. Under the race link you will find a race application. A sponsor letter that asks for your support over and above the entree fee is also in “Trail News”. If you would like the name of your business or your name on the race T-shirt, Max Furek ,our race director, needs to know by March 21. (570-542-7946) All profits go to trail maintenance, insurance, and other administrative costs necessary to provide this trail to our community.
